GY6 EFI UPDATES

Hello All,



I will be sharing all of my resources for the GY6 EFI system here on this page for you to join me in exploring what we as a community can build.

The good good news is that EFI for the GY6 already exists and has for years across many platforms (scooters, 4 wheelers, go-karts, and even multi person vehicles). 

For our purposes, we wil keep it simple. I started with the Chuma or Tank 200efi. The Chuma is a Chinese knockoff Zuma 125 platform and I am familiar with that platform. It made perfect sense.

(This is not plug n play to a Ruckus and does not have a wire harness and the fuel pump is not compatible with the Ruckus gas tank).

(These will work with the current system I am runninng but for future systems with wideband O2 sensor you will want an 18 Pole EFI Stator and Magneto)

RECTIFIER: I use the OEM Zuma 125 rectifier as it is a better unit than Chinese options available and is also compatible with 18 pole stators. You may view them HERE

FUTURE PLANS:
  1. RUS EFI ECU to take complete control of your setup HERE
  2. Wide Band O2 Sensor controller HERE 
  3. Controlable touchscreen instrument display for the RUSEFI platform (speed, temp, rpm, AFR, etc) A working eMoto setup can be viewed HERE as a reference for the vision.
All of this information is provided in the spirit of opening up innovation within the mini moto community. It is meant as a resource for the builders out there wishing to take their knowledge to a new level and to implement it into their own builds.
